Did a new install today, xsession-errors is now totally worthless.
Was written to only on the 1st session or so, then it stops completely just
shows the same thru restarts. log outs
So it's not replaced it's being treated as if it was modified which
prevents any further writing
I have try again. Same result. I have purge first all the fglrx packages and
then sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get dist-upgrade sudo apt-get install
fglrx.
At reboot lightdm doesn't start. I look at /var/log/apt/term.log and I can see

I have managed to run 1.5 trunk on precise and it works perfectly. The
same auto-detected settings (in this case: AppSocket) in 1.5.2 cause the
FS 1320 to hang in an endless processing state.
Summary:
1.5.0: Works
1.5.2: Does not work
What is to become 1.5.3: Works
So
I have already tested it in precise, and also configured cron command
for disconnecting user session and notifying about it - everything works
flawlessly.

After sleeping the laptop (Gigabyte T1005), nm-applet had crashed and I

Well, I do run chrome a lot, so it does overlap. istr chrome does
create some (should be) unmapped windows for its own purposes and
perhaps that's not what unity's expecting. However, it persists even

That was me - to add,
What's happening now is lines are being written but inside the file, not at
the end. Also every time it writes a line some are removed.
Ex. - the file is now1886 lines. (xs1). I take a screenshot, (xs2) , a couple
of lines are written, several are removed -
$ diff
