OK, it seems gnome-screensaver is actually searching for the
gdmflexiserver instead of using the correct API to switch users.
Reassigning this bug to gnome-screensaver, and marking 952305 as a dupe
since it's the same cause.

I have had the same issue with WD's advanced format HDDs since Oneric
(precise as well). Have spoke to WD and according to them misaligned
extended partition was an error with dusk utility because 'parted -
print ' showed the main partition beginning at sector 2048 which is
divisible by their 512
Found a workaround:
1. Create ~/.gtkrc-2.0 file with the following line:
gtk-theme-name=Ambiance
2. Create ~/.xprofile file with the following contents:

on the application. There is no friendly way to remove it from the blacklist,

just started update manager, then it gave me a partial update, as it
could not do a full update, I clicked on do partial update, and then it
crashed completely, impossable, something to do with the desktop
