The debian qemu tree has added a kvm wrapper which adds -enable-kvm and
-cpu kvm64 to the arguments. I'm not sure whether the unconditional
addition of -cpu is correct for us.
(I'm also not sure the best answer isn't simply to remove the 'kvm'
symlink)

I have Ubuntu 12.04 and went a while without screenshots in software-
center. Then software-center was updated a week or two ago to 5.2.7 (I
think) and I had screenshots again. YAY!
BUT now I'm back to the same, no screenshots again. I have checked and
I have glib-networking installed and
I'd think something along this should work:
1. Put http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/precise/daily-live/current/ (or
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/kubuntu/precise/daily-live/current/) i386 version
onto bootable USB stick
2. Replace the bcml-kernel-source .deb at pool/restricted/b/bcmwl/ with a .deb

After getting really upset because of this issue (see comment #88), I
decided to fully erase my HD and reinstall Ubuntu 12.04.1 again. Then I
installed all applications I've been using before, and this problem
fully disappeared. No idea of what was causing it, really. It remembers
me those times
