Currently, I have been unable to get a stacktrace when running in a

The bug you mentioned is not actually a bug in java-gnome. The doc generation
process in java-gnome tries to take screenshots of some demo apps running with
help of xvfb. This screenshot generation triggers a problem in glib when using
old kernels (which seem to be the case on Debian

For me, after upgrade to Karmic, F-Spot screensaver is listed among
other screensavers, but does not work. It only shows black screen in the
View window, and if this screensaver is selected, system never goes to
screensaver mode.
