I confirm this bug on Ubuntu Maverick (i386). The bug is not present on
Lucid, with the version of GIMP backported from maverick. Hence, it is
most likely due to a conflict which is specific to Maverick.

Hi,
I can't find this version of barry in any of the Ubuntu repository.
Please uninstall the existing barry package and reinstall them from
synaptic.
Marking as invalid as nothing has to be fixed in Ubuntu.
