I think i fixed the problem. Sudo apt-get clean does`nt
help but it shows me where i have to look. So i look in the Synaptic for
ttf-ms...
and found it installed.I marked it and choose remove and reset
configuration.
I had two updates since i did this without problems.

the problem but I have to keep doing it once per session. I would like to make
these settings permanent. I tried to edit the xorg.conf but the file doesn't

The problem seems very nasty now with 10.10 as network manager insists
on adding an entry with the hostname of the machine and 127.0.0.1 so
everytime you use the myIpAddress function you have always 127.0.0.1 !

Another solution might be to return not 1 address with myIpAddress but
an array of addresses.

You need to change the following line
# include linux/autoconf.h
with
# include generated/autoconf.h
on every .h file in the /usr/share/virtualbox/src/vboxhost directory.
After that it compiles with no problem with DKMS. Just use
sudo /etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup
