PARTIAL-FIX (workaround):
I compiled a 2.6.37.6 kernel with uhci_hcd and ehci_hcd as modules.
After resume the wacom devices (and right-side usb) can be revived by
rmmod uhci_hcd; modprobe uhci_hcd
The issue is a power management issue with usb. Not sure what changed
from 2.6.35 to cause this.

Activating second
When booting the operating system will not recognize the presence of the
LiveCD, and you will end up with a console of initram.
I followed one tip found on Internet.

Just a note that the performance of glxspheres reflects how fast the
desktop 'feels'. I suspect that all compiz animations are being limited
to whatever fps glxspheres can manage.

It started to behave properly for a while, then went back without
adjusting anything.
In the end, hashing out OnlyShowIn=GNOME;Unity; seems to have fixed the
problem, at least so far.

I've noticed that it seems to work now, as long as there are multiple
pressings in a pulsating manner.
The keyboard still lights up unexpectedly towards the end, and shuts
itself off again when bring it back up again. Pretty wacky.

I have the same problem with vmbuilder 0.12.4.r466 (Ubuntu 11.10 amd64).
Here are the last lines of output for this command :

I can also confirm this bug.
Lenovo Workstation with proprietary nvidia 280.13 driver and Quadro FX
1700 / 512MB Video Board and dual monitor config (twinview).
11.04 worked just fine.

I can reproduce in natty too, with an eee-pc.
The good news is that the patch in the ppa: https://launchpad.net/~aapo-
rantalainen/+archive/ppa-aaporantalainen works very well. So this
problem has, at least for the user of a synapctics touchpad, a solution.
