One would be a race condition between bridge-utils and vlan, this got fixed in

It turns out the original problem never went away. The container never
gets a net-device-up event for lo, even in precise. You can verify this
trivially with two upstart jobs, /etc/init/lxc{lo,eth}.conf:

start on net-device-up
after update 1-3 Feb pidging doens't show menubar much more frequently.
That is after it is afterstarted (Unity interface, startup application) it has
to be killed, then second time when I start it

Thanks Bryce. I have since disposed of this laptop (to a family member,
running OSX instead of Ubuntu) and have replaced it with a non-nVidia
one. So unfortunately I won't be doing any further testing on this bug,

works, because libgstisomp4.so has changed location:

Tried the suggestion in comment #13, but it didn't work. Still get
Error connecting to the server: fe_sendauth: no password supplied when
connecting without a password. Please note that I'm able to log in to
the same database without a password from the command line: psql -U
[db_user] [db_name] -

make install does not install dbus/_compat.py Pleaes find patch to fix this.
Already fixed in Comment #76 and in dbus-python 1.0.0.

I was using the python3 branch. I did not realise that it
was allready merged into master.
I've deleted the python3 branch (Barry's version, now merged) and the
old py3k branch (John's version, not directly merged but used as
inspiration by Barry) to avoid confusion.

Can you please reupload that SRU with reverting the build dependency
change? That's not quite appropriate for an SRU, as it might change
existing behaviour.
