I still think this is a valid bug.
The problem disappeared after nova-network restart and so far it did not come
back. What we would like to find out is why did this start happening. There is
no proof of this but it may be ralated to long nova-network uptime.

everything worked pretty fine! But after I upgraded to Precise, I can't
find ffdemux_mp3 in gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg any more.

This is a weird one... the system is an HP Pavilion 23 All In One and is
powered by a large power supply brick.
I currently have an Apple Magic Mouse connected via Bluetooth. As soon
as the mouse is connected, the Battery indicator shows up and clicking
on that shows that

additionally, when I turn the mouse off, the battery indicator goes to
critically low and I actually sometimes get a Low Battery warning and
the system suspends itself. See this shot and you can make out the
Critically Low suspend warning I got just before the system suspended
itself.

Asus X55 - Kernel Panic when
Here are some materials about what I see happen here:
- a video showing how the console shows after plymouth and before X comes back
- a bootchart
- syslog
- Xorg.0.log
There is indeed a huge gap (10 seconds) without any activity at the beginning
of the boot, maybe not related to X, but still
We don't. I've just installed Quantal on the box tried again. With
nothing plugged in, launching the Sound Settings tool, Output shows two
options, Internal and Headphones. Input shows only one, Internal Mic.
I plugged in a Mic, and nothing changed, I was not given an External
Mic Option and
