I am on Ubuntu Budgie 20.4 Beta. Xorg, Surface Pro 4 (Intel® Core™
i7-6650U CPU @ 2.20GHz × 4, 16GB RAM), intel graphics (Mesa Intel®

If fractional scaling is off, everything works as expected.

the firmware on your machine is for ubuntu 20.04, with the ubuntu 20.04,
you should not install the 19.10's kernel. please install 5.4.0-18 or
later kernel.
for sof driver, the ubuntu 19.10's kernel can't work with the 20.04's

Can you please attach a photo showing where your HDMI cable is plugged
into the computer?
As far as I can tell, if it's plugged into the motherboard then this
would not be a bug. It looks like that model of motherboard does not
support 4K at 60Hz, but is limited to 24Hz or 30Hz.

Hello,
I runned an upgrade from 19.10 to 20.20 beta and it gave me a bunch of
errors related to pam:
6.3965:installed libpam0g:amd64 package post-installation script
subprocess was killed by signal (Segmentation fault), core dumped
installed libpam-runtime package
The current version in the archive is 2.3~rc2-1. Would be nice to have a
release tagged officially instead of a release candidate.

Sync
Installed focal fossa beta this morning on a XPS 13 (9300), and facing
the same issue.
The first thing I usually do is to install GNOME Tweaks, and this
doesn't show in Snap Store.
Tried snap-store rev336 (installed by default) and rev344 (from edge
channel): same result.

Due to a code change for channel names in snapd gnome-software in bionic
doesn't show versions in the 'latest/*' channels. Solution is to backport
changes that always use the full name for channels to avoid this problem.
