Ah, indeed, enabling the text plugin (which made compiz crash btw...)
made it work also for me in 11.04! thanks :-)
So, fixing this bug would be really very easy:
Just change the default setting to enable the text and the scale-addons
plugins and set scale addons to work on all windows.
