I can confirm this. I am using kpdf and when opening files such as the
one above, it just displays garbage. Maybe it is an encoding problem,

section is written at install time, and it contained the hda1 part, so

I have a similar PDF (which unfortunately I cannot share), and neither
Evince nor KPDF could display it. xpdf did, luckily.
I installed poppler-data, and as a result, KPDF indeed displayed the
document differently. However, by no means would I say that it displayed

It seems that katapult does not work with the static event flow. Please do the
following:
1. vi (or your favourite text editor) ~/.scim/config
2. find the line /FrontEnd/X11/Dynamic = false
3. change false to true (without the quotation marks)
4. save the file
5. make it read-only: chmod -w
I have a hard time understanding why nothing is happening with this bug.
It has high priority so why noone is even assigned to it?! And if it has

xv began working again. I don't know what happened, I kind of remember two
changes that could possibly induce the change:
1. I think there was a kernel update recently
2. I installed realplayer from the web site. But

I also propose a timeout on the dialog. So if the user doesn't press any
buttons in, say 30 seconds or 1 minute, the system should assume that he went
to work/bed, and just continue with the shutdown.
