In should «killall faxgetty», download the general scrip gdb-wrapper.sh from

it seems the problem is in ghostscript and has been fixed upstream.
I would suggest uploading a new ghostscript package instead of a new hylafax

I can confirm this, with Kubuntu maverick dev.
If you don't remove network-manager you can connect with wicd only with
ethernet, otherwise in wi-fi mode you'll get a password error message

Kubuntu has worked hard to improve the integration of GTK applications in KDE,
I think that leaving the current splash is bad thing after all the work done to
improve the integration of the non-KDE applications.

In my SonyVAIO Laptop VPCEB1J1E, with this fix, Powerdevil shows the
brightness OSD when press Fn keys but it not increases or decreases the
brightness (works correctly via the panel applet) and the progress bar
in OSD remains stationary.

In OpenOffice the color of the window is not consistent with the rest of

This can be fixed by setting in Oxygen Theme the override of the window like
Firefox, Thunderbird and Gimp.

I can confirm the bug.
Username is not saved when you add an ssh host to the favourites.
Haven't tried with VNC.
A workaround is to save the username as part of the hostname, separated
by the @ sign
