It can be fixed in Ubuntu by overriding the BIOS default.

tries to mount the home partition without first setting up the
cryptographic loop device.

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: pidgin
If I set the proxy in gnome and start pidgin, the window appears, but it
hangs immediately (only kill -9 gets rid of it).
Pidgin works fine without proxy (on open networks). This behaviour is
new and on Hardy it worked fine.
** Affects: pidgin
Happens here too, and if you store the information system wide, it does
store the Key in the correct file and instead of promting NM is
completely unable to connect to that nework...
So thi is a rather big bug (and not just keyring related)

The problem returned after installing 2.6.20-16, this is the same
machine as before.
It's very annoying, the boot process stops on a blank screen and I have
to CTRL-ALT-F1 to get to the message where I can press enter to boot
furhter.
** Changed in: linux-source-2.6.20 (Ubuntu)
Status:
ok, nice that there is an update in testing, it would have been nice to
have a comment here to warn us about it... (unless I overlooked).
How do we give feedback on the package?

Unfortunately, gnome-pilot crashes when I try to use it on Edgy.
It did do the original sync to get the User ID, but when I activated the
calendar conduit, it goes down.

Any news on this issue yet?
I hope it will be resolved soon, so I can move my laptop to Edgy too.
It's strange though that CD's are supported perfectly (CDROM, DVD, CDR)
while USB does not work.

I have no luck on the crashes yet and I cannot move my laptop (which I
use normally for syncing) to Edgy because of Bug #67307 (USB storage
devices not working).

Nothing happens indeed.

output before the device was connected).

Sorry, I didn't get arround to it yet. I have one machine on Edgy, but
no the laptop I sync my pilot with. I was meaning to upgrade that too,
but a bug with gnome-volume-manager prevents it.
I'll try a sync on the desktop in a few days.
