Iam able to change the Orientation in the right way now.
All things are working, except:
1. The Desktop size (Plasma) is now big enough (in comparison to the screen
rotated-picture at 2008-03-12), but its even bigger. I
But when i switch my nine desktops. youll see black stripes on the rigt side of
each desktop.
This is the too big workspace (i dont know how to describe else).

I installed a fresh Kubuntu 8.10 on my notebook.
The problem doesnt exist there. I tried to find out what the error on my fully
upgraded apha5 pc is.
1. I copied package list. (all packages, which exists on the notebook, are on

2. purged all kgpg, kmail, kontact, gnupg,
changed importance
pseudo fix (short workaround) released.

Since today again no sound with multiple applications.
Even within KDE-applications.
Eg. if click the test button in system settings and start amarok while the
sound is playing i get:

linux-image-2.6.31-16 and linux-libc-dev + dependencies.
Had to restart, now it works. I really dont know how

I would like to confirm this bug. Using intel 5300AGN with Dell Latitude E6400.
2.4Ghz fine.
5Ghz stoped working after first connection.

Using Karmic Netbook A6 on Latitude E6400. It works now and reconnects
fine with 5ghz network.

again, it takes several seconds until
connecting ... appears and there is now noticeable action like this rotating
circle in the plasmoid. Nothing happens.
This only happens with 5ghz network-connections. But my one is a 5Ghz one ;)
I would like to present logs, just say, which you need.

Im made some logs in different situations.
The first is to connect the very first time. deleted all networkconnections in
the Network manager widget and in kdewallet.
-- Connection was successful
The second try was after standby.
-- Connection unsuccessfull.
The widget symbol has rotated.
