I was trying to replicate the problem that you are having w/ this bug
and was unable to do so on both my Dapper box and also my Edgy box. Is

I noticed that the last update to this bug was with Dapper Beta 2. I
was wondering if you could update your system to Dapper 6.06.1 LTS and
see if you are still having the same problem. If you are please update
this bug, if you aren't then please reject this bug as it is working
correctly.

When booting from 6.06.1 LTS and the Edgy Release Candidate by removing the
quiet from the boot the messages are the same:

I noticed that this bug was updated against Breezy (5.10). Have you
been able to update your system to Dapper (6.06.1) and if so did this
bug show up again? If not can you please close this bug request.

This affects both Dapper Drake (6.06.1) and Edgy Eft (6.10). To
reproduce have a box w/ the new Intel Q965 chipset (built in video card)
and try to boot the Desktop CD
This chipset is comming out w/ the new Intel Core Duo chips. No error

Using Edgy Desktop CD (Release downloaded this afternoon), I had an
error on repartioning my hard drive, and aborted the instllation which
brough me back the Kubuntu login screen. I assum the usersname and
password is ubuntu at that point?
Using the official Kubuntu release of Edgy I was still unable to boot.
Tried to pass several commands and all failed. I can't tell if this bug
is closed/or rejected or whatever it is, but it is still aproblem

disks, so I selected Go Back and it closed out Ubiquity and broght me
back to the desktop. I should be able to Go Back and verify my
changes w/o having to start over

Hello,
I have knetworkmanager running on my laptop w/o any problems installed
on an Edgy box. I did not have to make the suggested changes, in fact I
didn't make any changes.
