Strange that there is no icon for the education section, Vincent. Which theme do you use? Would you like to install an a education app and check if there's an icon in the GNOME application menu? The other icon should be fixed with the next upload. We missed the freeze of KNOT 3. So wait some days

@Sander: I don't think that so many users will select the select in the progress dialog. Error or info Dialogs are different. The problem is, that if the text label is the only part of the window that can be selected, gtk will select the whole text. Seems to be a bug in GTK. -- Welcome screen

It doesn't require X. It only tries to make use of it, if its available. Since the patch only unsets your DISPLAY variable and update-app-install works in my local console, I assume, that you have a DISPLAY variable that points to a non working/accessible x server. That is why the programm failed.

[Bug 60698] Re: Change Apply+Cancel+OK to Reset+Apply Changes

The problem of the duplication of apply and ok is perhaps the missing feedback from the application. The user feels unsure if his or her changes have been applied correctly. If you click on apply at first, you get the chance to control the changes easily. Personally I don't like the generic ok
