[Bug 1272765] Re: Xbox 360 wireless controller light continues blinking after sync with receiver

2015-09-12 Thread Tobeus
Okay, good news everyone. I got it to work, and it works great so far.
What I had forgot was to un-blacklist the xpad driver in
/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf after upgrading the kernel. I also
removed the steamos xpad driver by typing sudo apt-get purge steamos-
xpad-dkms. Then reboot and it worked great. If you want to give it a
try, and be warned that this is still an UNSTABLE kernel, so use it at
your own risk, then just follow the directions at
http://sourcedigit.com/16980-install-linux-kernel-4-2-in-
ubuntu-15-04-ubuntu-14-04/ to get it installed. Hope this helps someone
else out there.

[Bug 1272765] Re: Xbox 360 wireless controller light continues blinking after sync with receiver

2015-09-11 Thread Tobeus
I may be doing something wrong, but I just installed kernel
4.2.0-040200-generic in Ubuntu 14.04 x64, rebooted and verified new
kernel version with uname -r. Rebooted and re-connected and re-synced
my 360 controller. Still getting the flashing green ring rather than a
solid LED indicator like it should be. Please let me know if anyone has
any other ideas. Till then I'll go back to xboxdrv.

[Bug 988173] Re: maas-import-isos fails

2013-02-20 Thread Tobeus
I know this is almost a year old since the status change, but it would
be nice to have that as a hint in the error message if that is possible
to insert as com4 suggested. Just thought I'd throw my 2 cents in.
Thanks for the tip on the fix though! Worked like a charm after fixing
the IP.

[Bug 49521] Re: Screen locks up black on laptop lid close.

2010-07-07 Thread Tobeus
I have a Dell Latitude E4300. Lucid 10.04 w/ gnome load. Close lid,
and black screen... locked. Intel video. This is when it is set to
suspend on lid close. If I change to blank screen on lid closed, the
locked screen pops up asking for a password, but the machine locks up
with no response. I have to perform full power-down and reboot. Latest
updates.

Hope we see some action on this one ;)

[Bug 365881] Re: wubi installer's pyrun.exe says no disk

2009-11-01 Thread Tobeus
Confirmed for me too. Ejected the card reader and all seems to be
working again. Just go to Safely Remove Hardware and remove that card
reader, then give it another try.

Using Vista x64 Ultimate with latest SP's and updates.
