1. AIUI, it's still trying to connect to arbitrary connections (i.e.
BEER), instead of letting the user decide which connection to use.

I don't think the problem has anything to do with the size of the
monitors. It's a problem dragging from an upper monitor to a lower one.
That is, dragging a window down, past the bottom of the upper monitor
and the top of the lower monitor.

Hmm, now I'm noticing an additional condition: the problem seems to only
happen if some part of the window would be off-screen on the right side
of the lower monitor. If I move the window to the left, it unsnaps
when none of it is off-screen to the right.
