Hi,
have a similar problem - Atheros AD242 here, iwconfig lists it, but I
can't find any networks neither with network-manager (Kubuntu) nor with
iwlist scanning. Willing to give you any information you need. I tried
to compile madwifi by hand, but it didn't change anything.

addition - in Ubuntu bluez upstream is divided in bluez bluez-alsa
bluez-gstreamer libbluetooth3 etc - so you've got to override some files

packages with apt-get -

I had got the same issue, now (01/01/2008) I am able to install basic
kde packages.
However, I am not able to install some of additional kde4 packages such

yes, this issue is also in final Feisty, both with fglrx and radeo
drivers. But it seems to be a problem only for ATI video cards - on my
tower with nvidia I get the same errors in Xorg.0.log and direct
rendering is working fine.

To compile 8.28.8 on 2.6.20 I had to copy asm/unistd.h from older kernel
and replace in firegl_public.c linux/config.h with linux/utsrelease.h.
Now I have 3daccel, but only with X 7.1 (all xserver-xorg packages are
