Hi,
I am quite new to ubuntu and I have been trying to find the solution to
this on the ubuntu blogs, which I have found quite usefel (on a side

Another +1 vote to fixing this annoying paper cut. Ideally change color

I too am still having this problem with the latest Ubuntu 9.10 where my
ipod 5.5g video isn't detected. It is detected in Rhythm Box. The issue

Actually this chopping off issue was fixed when 9.04 was launched. I

I am having the same problem. When I selected Legal size it chops off
text at the top about 1.5 inches. A4 size seems to print ok. This
happens on openoffice and pdf document viewer. I've tested with hp
laserjet (foo2zjs) 1020 and hp laserjet 2015 (hpijs).
This seems work fine with Ubuntu 8.10 so
Ricardo,
Your problem is unrelated to this bug. You appear to have a non-Ubuntu
version of the update-rc.d program installed, which is normally
provided by the sysv-rc package. In Ubuntu, versions
2.86.ds1-14.1ubuntu2 and above of sysv-rc support a multiuser option
to update-rc.d; since your
OK, I think my issues was corrected after some steps. Seems like the
reason for my FF problem is caused by a clash between Flash-non free
plug-in and Gnash player. After unstalling both from synaptic and
installing only flash plugin solved my FF issue.

I get the same error and disabling cache makes it work. I am running on
