As addon my plank fades out if the mouse reach over, so nothing can ever
clicked. Nor does it switch the desktop for an running application on
other screen.
Is it possible to delete the whole plan config?

Checking, YES this option was switched on. Switching it off restores the
normal behaviour.
So this bug can be closed. In 17.10 the switch wasn't on or the default
seems to be changed.

Simple job and this has functioned up to ubuntu LTS with previous
versions of VLC.
What to do: Have an UPNP server in your network, somewhere maybe at
localhost. Fire up
On my computers software update ignore locks in synaptic and dpkg too.
It would be better to fix software update or to remove the dysfunctional
function in both programs.
If a user set a lock for reason, the system should not override it.

Today while surfing firefox 56 crash and after restart ver 57 jumps to
the screen. The firefox marked for hold version was updated without any
warning and way to stop that.
No firefox 57 is not a security upgrade from it's severe incompatibility
to previous versions.

Okay the bios was updated to 3.21 and ecp to 1.06, for luck the battery
seems to have the right security chip and is accepted by the new ecp.

Lenovo battery for 150 bucks. So i can only point that this bug did not
occur under 14.04 LTS. The system was reverted to Ubuntu Mate 15.04 now
and show the same behaviour, screen brightness turns to highest or
lowest at boot.
Reverted the machine to Ubuntu Mate 15.04 without compiz, now the bug is
gone. So it seems to depend on a running compiz above ubuntu 14.04 to
mess up the graphics.

After 3 hours of work to get an bartpe bootable windows for the bios
updater Lenovo check up the battery before a bios update can be
done, so i have to buy an original battery for 150 bucks first to
perform such an update. With newer bios releases the laptop will also

by the r22 upgrade release this week. The phone grab the right position

Bug exists on, the update give no change to it. Updates of installed
apps did not change the behaviour, the icons did not appear.
But here is a workaround: Remove and reinstall the bugged Apps.. Now the

Okay did the following
- delete the printer
- purge both brother hl4150* packages from the system
- full reboot
- install both brother packages again, this triggers a cupsd restart
get this in dmesg

Yes #93 is right, downgrading to the xfce-indicator-plugin from raring
and set to hold fix _all_ problems. Things can be so easy, thanks Set.

Cant add a new printer and cant print a testpage with the pdf-printer,
Okay have purged the printer and repeated the driver install based on
this informations

Thanks god i have one laptop with mint (13.04) and i will not upgrade it
to prevent this mess. The battery applet is also affected and shows no
menu, the whole indicator is bugged since 13.10.

Since upgrade from 13.04 to 13.10 this system can't print anything. By
searching i found this in dmesg

The printer indicator is also bothered by this problem, no menu
available. Any bugfix idea for that?

Reinstall of blueman also did not help, no menu available.

had te same bug and the exec bugfix works fine for the sound applet. But
have the same error with the bluetooth applet, what kind of bugfix is
needed there?
See attachment, same problem. Cannot switch or use bluetooth from the
missing menu.

Since upgrade to 13.10, there are no menus in the bluetooth and volume
symbol. When clicked, only a light box appears, it is not possible to
change conditions. The faults appear in the systray-4 and libindicator-5
fields.

2. Insert your well numbered track in the audio project listview
3. Sort or rearrange with breaks like you want
4. Burn this to a cd
5. Place this cd into a audio

Have 3 computers, all 13.04 amd64 and no other is listed on every single
computer. They are perfectly isolated in software center, but work
together in ubuntuone.
