After network update on july 27 2011 destop dont start ubuntu. system
stopped at message battery check state. After trying to fix the
problem withreboot and root shell (network support and without, update
etc.) system hangs still at the message battery check state

Hi,
thanks for those links they helped me a lot.
I started from scratch and it seems like I have created a correct lb_LU locale.
At least localedef does not throw any errors or warning.
And i got files for every LC_* type i defined in the locale in
/usr/lib/locale/lb_LU
I did however use
