5.11.0-41-generic fixes it. Prior to this I upgraded from Ubuntu 21.04
to 21.10 and no USB port worked, with kernel 5.13.0-23-generic.

I use bash and still face this issue. The fix proposed at #18 doesn't
work entirely. You should add double quotes to the PATH and print the
new line properly by replacing echo with printf:

Hi Christopher, the problems occurs since ubuntu 11.10. I can't tell if
the problem was the same before this release, because I have not got
already my SSD before. So I have not observed a regression. Just a

are recognized as SATA II discs, according to palimpsest. When I run
hdparm -tT /dev/sd?, it returns me that my SSD works à 300Mo/s which

I have the same with Karmic RC1.
However, I've seen something like this happen with the Jaunty version of
Hamster too, when I was playing around with more recent versions of the
Intel Graphics driver. Reverting back to the Jaunty version of the
driver fixed the problem.

I've discovered that this bug actually comes and goes. Sometimes it uses
the progress bar and other times it doesn't. It seems to depend on the
song. Some mp3s will display the progress bar and others will not. Even
the ones that do do not seem to allow skipping forward within the song.

After much cursing, I'm slowly making progress while trying to install
this sucker. Removing everything in the /etc/vmware dir seemed to just
mess things up for Adept. Plus, it didn't work here, so I don't
recommend it.
Here's my recipe so far:
1) Using the Adept Manager, install the
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: rapidsvn
just opened rapidsvn, right-clicked to see what options might be
available, and got a segfault.
** Affects: rapidsvn (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: Unconfirmed

this happens consistently as long as you have NO bookmarks selected. if
you have anything selected in the left hand window pane, a right-click
produces a context menu as expected.

Forgot to mention download alternative cd install in text mode
when you restart choose safe mode option.Wait for command prompt type lspci
get the busid number for your pci graphics card mine was 01:00:0 it might list
two use the vga one.Then back at the command prompt type sudo
to fix this issue start in safe mode and wait for command prompt may take
awhile then do lspci look for ati vga.Then write down pci bus number mine was
1:00:0 restart again in safe mode and wait for the command promt.Then do sudo
dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg you will then see options to set up
I have a similar error in VMWare making it say unrecoverable error
