I can confirm that I get the same error message with Lucid. I have raised upstream bugs. According to Lennart, a Pulseaudio developer, the problem (10 months ago) was Uh. This needs to posted as a bug against the a52 alsa module upstream. It shouldn't return EAGAIN on snd_pcm_commit().
