I concur with Scott, it does not make sense — this mouse should and have
worked with Ubuntu until laterly, so it is not a Microsoft's fault. It
is a bug somewhere in GNU\Linux.

detected mic port in my system and the audio stream was empty, correctly
adding a mic to the system fixed this.

but I think we still need «gm-esp», or at least a metapackage named exactly
that, so the pre-compiled binaries containing proprietary drivers from

I still have similar problem on Maverick with Brasero 2.32.0.
I tried to burn two disks, and it failed with the checksum error every
second time, quite irritating.
I am attaching the log, thought it's 3.3 Mb.
