Mathias - yes, I am able to connect to the mysqld server - it behaves
normally, but will not stop. How should I go about fixing the tables?

repair tables completes successfully, but still shows the same issues
after execution.

I get the same error too. The same message as Pascal, dpkg: error processing
acidlab (--configure):
