It happens every time that my machine is turned off improperly (i.e.
power failure or system crash). A file named docker.pid is left in
folder /var/snap/docker/current/run/ and this prevents the snap package
to startup successfully. I have to manually remove the file to be able
to start docker

No, I had to remove it since including it triggered some errors during boot.
IIRC, one was "failed to raise network interfaces". I've tried with 18.04.2 and
networking works, but there's only the raising network interfaces error.
In both cases, gnome says that networking is
@beta-tester I can finally boot with network using the workaround in
18.04.2.
The workaround is, however, a bit difficult to apply, unless there is
another way to do it. unmkinitramfs will only extract one of the 2
embedded microcodes and thus I'm extracting the initrd manually.

Hi,
When I browse webp folders and open some webp pictures, gthumb start to
consume a lot of ram each time I open a picture, till freeze the OS for

El error #1317108 escribe _e_ en vez de _é_ algunas veces, y cambiando entre
ventanas (ALT+TAB) se puede volver a escribir bien.
Tu error es que escribe _'e_ en vez de _é_ y ocurre siempre en aplicaciones QT,
eso es otro error más viejo.

Exactly, if I force with vgaswitcheroo to DIScrete (radeon), display goes off.
I think, since it is a muxless system, Radeon GPU have no populated display
port. Only works as gpu coprocessor.

I found that my notebook HP G62 is a Muxless GPU system, with an IGP
i915 + DIS Radeon 54xx.
The way I can run an app in accelerated mode is with DRI_PRIME=1
glxgears
But I cannot enable it by default.

Hi, I have the same problem. Two display detected on a HP G62 notebook.
Hybrid VGA configuration enable both gpu. When enable HDMI, a third monitor
appear. If I mirror, lot of problems appear. Cant use HDMI mirroring, only
disabling the others displays. (radeon/intel lvds)

I have the same bug, trying to install in a fresh SSD, it crashes during the
localitation selection which means is the partition process.
Also screen goes black and it starts the discret nvidia graphic card(I have a
led on the laptop) but it goes back to the intel. but the screen stays black
