I am using a samsung 7 series (700Z5A-S01), with a 3.2 kernel. For me,
slightly different alsamixer values are reported (see attached file).

Whatever had focus before clicking the box, still has focus after

I have found a workaround. I've downgraded libgexiv2-0 to the maverick
version (0.2.0-0ubuntu2). This solves problems for both callstacks
mentioned above (gexiv2_metadata_get_exif_tag_rational and
gexiv2_metadata_get_orientation).

Recently I did an upgrade (at most a week ago, i don't remember, sorry),
and postponed the reboot until yesterday. After that I have problems
with my mouse. After login to ubuntu it is working fine, but after some
time mouse dies. After unplugging my mouse and replugging it,

Nope, it doesn't solve the problem. I haven't tried a full reboot
though. My wife is currently working on some files through an smb share,
so rebooting would be rude... ;-)
Also, i had a working config before I upgraded to edgy, libxine-
extracodex has been on my system since the first install
Rhythmbox plays mp3 just fine...
