I just barely upgraded from 23.10 to 24.04 on my System76 Thelio. I am observing this issue as well. I thought it was only Electron apps, but it eventually started happening with VLC too. I am able to work around some of the issue by launching Discord and Visual Studio Code in Wayland mode. I
