Using Gmail IMAP/SMTP
Connection: Modem/Router; PC has static IP.
Earlier I've tried

That being
It happens when I am using Gmail as an SMTP server.
In the gnome bug report (linked above by Tien Nguyen) someone else also
mentioned Gmail.

Hi,
I have the same issue (Evolution 2.22.1) when trying to send two large
documents (appr 2MB each) in a mail. Only, when Evolution fails it seems
that my wireless network connection fails, I lose connection to the
wireless AP.

1/ Any JPEG would have the problem, large or small. No JPEG attachment, no
problem.
2/ My connection is DSL with 378Kbps upstream.
3/ As I said, it works fine with evolution 2.12.1 and Thunderbird, on the same
network.
