I can report that I'm am having this problem too, on Ubuntu Ubuntu 9.10
Karmic Koala with a Saitek P2900 Wireless Pad. I hope that this gets
looked at soon, that controller worked just fine before the update for
me, so I know the problem isn't on my end.
