not really fix released, it is fixed on the babbage 2.0/2.5 where we
dont have any VGA support and no analog signals on the DVI port, so its
impossible to actually confirm the status on a VGA port given that we
dont support the babbage1 anymore ... moving to incomplete (where it
will likely stay

this seems also to be the case under gdm (moving the mouse to the bottom
right corner makes a white stripe show up at the bottom of the screen)

would assume the probelm to be in the linux framebuffer driver itself.
