Public bug reported: The wired network interface does not function with the following configuration: Hardware: Acer Aspire One D250, Internal network interface is Atheros AR8132 (vendor id 0x1969, device id 0x1062) Software: Ubuntu Netbook Remix from jaunty nightly builds, linux kernel 2.28
I have build the kernel 2.29 and 2.30 with the experimental atl1c driver module the network device is detected but it does not function. ifconfig shows the eth0 interface but there are many errors and collisions detected. If I remove the driver and do a second modprobe atl1c, the system hangs. The drivers are described here: http://www.hogchain.net/attansic/attansic.html Drivers are here from the vendor: http://partner.atheros.com/Drivers.aspx ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- LAN does not function with Acer Acpire One D250 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/363691 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
