Yep, same issue here.
It seems to happen only when playing with open office but i had the same kind
of issue with intrepid on my previous computer with completely different
hardware and the way to reproduce the crash was just to use gdesklet or system
monitor.
So, this is not a major issue for

After updating to 185.18.14 I still experienced a crash.

I've posted a new version of the -nvidia driver to our xorg-edgers PPA,
would you mind testing it either on Jaunty or Karmic and see if it
resolves this bug?

Similar crash again just now. No GDM log this time, just an X crash followed by
GDM restarting.
From login to crash was ~15 minutes.

I saw the same symptoms with 180.44-0ubuntu1 on 9.04:

But nothing unusual in Xorg.0.log*.
Perhaps resolved in the 180.60 version, which someone commented in Bug
