Tried to open a bug-report against nVidia, already ? Try it! How is
situation in OpenSuse or Fedora :-)

I totally agree with this. Even if I am afraid that it will be never the
case, it would be nice if nvidia settings tool became translatable.

This is less of an issue now that Nvidia support RandR so that the
screen can be managed from the normal settings tools.
