The fix is only designed to sample the mouse at 200Hz, so I think according to the Nyquist–Shannon sampling theorem[1] it will only look smooth on monitors up to 100Hz. I could raise the rate to 250Hz to try and cover the case of 120Hz monitors, but I think other timing issues in compiz might
