Sorry, I managed to solve this problem only by installing 3.1.1. Or so I
thought. Now I can't replicate the bug in any kernel provided by Ubuntu
(3.0.0-12 and 3.0.0-13 in proposed), so I'm not so sure about 3.1.1 fix
either. Must be a good karma or something.
