Thanks for the screenshot. The only difference I see is the C Apache
DHTML DocBook ... part, that is missing. Is this the one you are
speaking about? If so, this is then not fixed in 2.2.2 ...

does the second menu bar from the snippets plugin work fine in unity as
well? This used to be a problem with unity in ubuntu 11.10 (regardless
of the bluefish version).

Which second menu bar are you speaking about? I can see 2 toolbars,
one depending on the first one, but I don't see another menu bar.
Could you point me to a screenshot where I can see it?

shown in gnome2 or gnome3
this menu is 100% user defined, but it has some defaults to show the
possibilities, so it should show up on a default install.
