Firehol's project page has not been updated since Jan. 30, 2005 so I

A normal user bust own the mount point to be able to mount cifs shares, even if
mount.cifs is setuid.

IMHO if a share is defined as user mountable in fstab it should be mounted
despite the owner of the mount point

Same story, I have just tested the latest live cd (apparently the

Specs: Asus A6J laptop with ATI Mobility X1600, LCD native resolution
1200x800 widescreen.
X won't start in normal mode or safe graphics mode
