Second, find attached xorg.conf.back which is a backup of xorg.conf with nv
driver.
This xorg.conf with nv, when activated, works rather well (1024x 768,
800x600, 640x480 screen resolutions are possible on my screen) except 3D
acceleration, of course !
And this, at the same level of ubuntu.
I have a similar issue with my D820, however, it sometimes powers off
and sometimes actually resumes. Currently I'd guess it's a 50/50 chance
for resuming. I'm not sure whether I should post my information on this
bug or open a new one. If you tell me which way to do it i'll upload my
system
still lacking a test case which lets us reproduce this. apparently no

strange thing is that opening that url in firefox brings you an
empty/broken rss feed page, while doing the same in epiphany works.

Well, I actually use epiphany, and as of this bug report it didn't work there.
It does today...
I encountered it first in Liferea, where this feed still doesn't work.
There's also an atom feed there, showing the same strange
epiphany/firefox behavior.
OK I see what you mean.
Like I said, I have removed kdesudu and my functionality has returned to normal
and so far I haven't noticed anything untoward from not having the package
installed.
