but the way that the log directory is mounted.
I have just hit this same problem locally, and I don't have a non-
default directory.

it seems we could try with -L (or even better --console-log) and fall
back to -c (or --console) if that fails with exit code 1 (we could even
check the output for invalid option.

I first noticed this with a `bzr lp-open` command which just uses the python

After quite a but of hunting and messing around, I found out the source
of at least my problem.
I have a Sony Vaio SZ2XP using a VSP-MCA20 express card to read SD
cards. This card reader does not read SDHC cards, and searches on

I had the exact same problem attempting to boot the generic kernel after
upgrading from dapper to edgy. The 386 kernel would boot fine, but the
generic would hang before the splash screen.
I have a Sony Vaio SZ2XP that is dual core and has SATA hard disk.

It seems firebug confused me by showing the style when inspected as
white-space: pre-wrap when in fact it wasn't at all.
