Are you speaking of an experience with the installer (ubiquity) or
gparted? They're two entirely different programs.

I chose install ubuntu from live cd then at the partitioning window it propose
me to resize one of the three disk that i have.
But to resizing and install to the others ??
I wasn't able to select any other device (workarounded in manual partitioning)
