Hi,
Trusty image #10 is now available. The following changelogs detail the
updates since the last promoted image #5 (20131024).

Hi,
how hard would it be to provide merged changelog files between released
images as opposed to the separate daily builds?
For regression testing it may help easily finding the changes that
introduced a bug based only on users reporting the image number they were
using.

Not hard, it is essentially a matter of spending time on this script
which was was not supposed to survive 13.10 :)

Hey everyone,
As you probably saw on the phone mailing list. We were finally available
to promote a new trusty image #10 (the last pieces making unity8 not
passing wasn't due to the image itself).
This image contains (from previous unpromoted ones) a lot application
design adjustments as well
Would like to know if anyone has this running on the HTC EVO G4? Another

Hi Guys,
As far as I know, cdimage-[touch,legacy] are really no longer

keeping them adds unnecessary confusion.

Hello.
Seems that you are doing this
Qt.openUrlExternally(

Js.band);10;
and this
var song = inputSong;
in separate QML files.
Add .pragma library at the beginning of your *.js file to share it
between *.qml files.

Hi all
I've been playing around with QtQuick.Controls, the desktop components
in QML. And I started wondering how these will be supported in Ubuntu
Phone? Will they look like they do on the desktop? Will they have a
Ubuntu.Components-looking theme, that could break the layout of an

Hello.
They are no supported at all.
It's sad, but if you want to write crossplatform apps with Qt/QML, you
should separate your logic and your UI.
Later UI should be ported for all platforms. In practice the difference
between platforms is not so big and often
caused by top level QML components,

Hello François,
To wake up instantly from sleep simply copy
/usr/share/powerd/device_configs/config-maguro.xml to
/usr/share/powerd/device_configs/config-crespo.xml.
I'm trying to port Ubuntu Touch to Nexus S in my spare time, too. Maybe we
can collaborate between us.
Regards.

I see that the jenkins job uses a specific job/test script wrapping
phablet-test-run here[1], I'll look into that and the uitoolkit specific

Sergio, any news? We are getting the qmlscene failure on some jobs that
just use the binary without the full path.

A list of suggestions
1. A power menu instead of holding down the power button (grouper)
2. A heads-up volume display
3. Screen lock (Maybe like a combinaton dial?)
4. Actual app store app. I like the Click, but I think an appstore app will
make things easier for new users.
