@Serge The outages appear random. I suspect the outage is related to bug
#633392, while the double broadcast packets must be a vlan bug. I'm
adding my findings to bug #633392.

HiTry bumping down the version of eucatools. From what I had read there was an
issue with 1.6.2 but the version 1.5 ran just fine. I found that worked thru
most of my frustrations. Hope it helps.Also the registerbundle seems to fail,
so try to separately register the kernel, ramdisk and storage

the problem remains that same. Thanks for your continued help on this issue. Im
blocked on migrating any windows hosts for now. The only other time ive seen

I can confirm that this is a samba problem: Downgrading to samba
version 3.4.7 from lucid fixed the issue for me. I've uploaded a
downgraded samba package to my PPA (but be warned, I bumped the epoch on
those, so installing them will prevent future automatic updates):
