Hope this helps, I was able to boot Server 2008 R2 and run with Maverick's seabios bios.bin (0.6.0-0ubuntu1) file on Lucid on a 16 cpu (2/4/2) system without a problem. I could not boot more than 4 cpus before with Lucid's seabios (0.5.1-0ubuntu2). Working configuration: Linux ubuntu01
