So things seem to have stalled somewhat? How about creating a collab-maint git repo on alioth.debian.org, and continue the packaging effort there? Upstream uses git now, and alioth is a better place for collaborating with Debian anyway (also because lp doesn't support git). -- [needs-packaging]
