Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: libsnmp-python

Using the snmp python bindings, I can walk the system mib (of the localhost
Ubuntu machine) but I get a segmentation fault when I try to walk the hrStorage
mib.
Walking the mib using snmpwalk from the command line fetches the table without
any problem, so I think the problem is in the python bindings and not the
net-anmp package.

Ubuntu version 8.10 (Intrepid):
package version: libsnmp-python 5.4.1~dfsg-7.1ubuntu6.1

Attached is a small python program that demonstrates the problem.
You have to install snmpd and configure it by mapping community public to
readonly rather than paranoid first.

** Affects: net-snmp (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
