/etc/init.d/winbind was apparently modified by hand (the one we ship has LSB
info and does not fail on line 1).
Please purge winbind (sudo apt-get purge winbind) and reinstall it, reopen this
bug if you can still reproduce.

I am continually being asked by update manager to install an important
