This sounds like unattended-upgrades should just add this to its
blacklist by default and only notify about it but leave it to the admin
to actually perform the upgrade of this package. OTOH however this would
mean that when people explictely use really_stop = true it would still
not get upgraded.

The problem is that slapcat is used in the slapd preinst but parts of
the dependencies for it are no longer available:
# ldd /usr/sbin/slapcat

libldap_r-2.2.so.7 = not found
liblber-2.2.so.7 = not found
libiodbc.so.2 =

libsasl2-2) and it has a exact version dependency on the

libsasl2-2 to libsasl2-2-modules-$foo to avoid the removal of libsasl2

I'm a proxy here, but I will forward the request.
I suspect that the error happend because cancel was clicked, I uploaded
a new debconf gnome version that will not show cancel (and the window
close button) when release upgrades are in progress so I think this part
of the bug can be closed.

I uploaded a workaround with a transitional package. I also looked into what
went wrong in the resolver. Here is what happend:
- pkgDistUpgrade goes over the installed package and mark them all for upgrade
- pkg libkadm5srv-mit9 gets installed as a dependency of krb5-multidev and
causes the

debian. The git commit in #16 should have some good overview what goes
wong in the libapt resolver. But for wheezy-jessie its probably still
